FarmFolk CityFolk Mobile Seed Cleaning Tour
Join FarmFolk CityFolk for a day to focus on the importance of seed security in BC. This event will highlight our Mobile Seed Cleaning Trailer, a resource developed to share with farmers across the province to improve the quality of seeds saved, and reduce processing time significantly. Staff will demonstrate cleaning equipment and answer any questions related to seed saving and production. Come with your questions! The events in Winlaw and Argenta will focus on cleaning farmer’s seeds in the morning, with drop in discussion and demonstration in the afternoon. Creston will host a more structured seed saving workshop.
