Watch this online event with Taylor Grafton to learn general handling practices in different environments and how small changes in facility design can make livestock handling easier and safer.
As an active rancher, Taylor bridges traditional handling practices with the newest science for moving animals and designing intuitive spaces. The presentation will build on some familiar concepts like flight zone and point of balance to present best practices for handling livestock on pasture or range.
Taylor Grafton: Biography
Taylor Grafton is a British Columbia-based livestock expert, rancher, and the Beef and Livestock Industries Specialist for the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food. His livestock handling approach bridges formal animal behaviour science (ethology) with practical, low-stress stockmanship practices.
