Tree fruit extension specialist Molly Thurston of Pearl Agriculture Consulting to discussed tree fruit management for small orchards (apples, pears, soft fruit) via a virtual Zoom workshop. Molly provides agricultural consulting services to conventional and organic growers and works regularity with growers in the Creston Valley. She is also co-owner and operator of Claremont Ranch Organic Orchard in Lake Country which supplies fruit to local restaurants, retailers and box delivery programs. These virtual extension meetings primarily focused on organic tree fruit management, but the principles are applicable to all types of production.
