Winter High Tunnel Salad Production

Participants toured a demonstration greenhouse built in 2015 that was undergoing a study on the viability of winter salad green production in a low-cost, high-tunnel structure that is heated by compost in low light conditions without supplemental lighting. This is a project of the BC Agriculture and Food Climate Action Initiative.
