Steve Kenyon’s Two-Day Grazing School
WorkshopÂ
Cranbrook, January 8 & 9
Steve Kenyon runs Greener Pastures Ranching, a custom grazing operation in Alberta with about 1200 head on 3500 leased acres. He is well respected in the agricultural community for his business management, innovation, and regular contributions to Canadian Cattlemen Magazine. Steve uses a combination of intensive cell grazing, dormant season grazing, swath grazing, crop residue grazing and bale grazing to pasture cattle year round. Day one of the grazing school focused on the economics of profitable businesses, and ways to manage human resources so everyone loves what they do. Day two looked at a wide range of production issues from grazing cell design to winter watering methods. Resources
