Field Day: T50 Drone Demonstration

On June 2 in Creston, attendees gathered for an in-field demonstration of the 10-foot diameter T50 agricultural drone. Peter and Kevin Wall, owners of Elev8 Drone Service, filled the drone’s high-capacity tank with water and demonstrated how the T50 sprays pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers with precision using smart flow control—reducing waste and labour even in hard-to-reach or wet areas. They also showed how the drone spreads seeds and granular fertilizers accurately, even on rough or uneven terrain. The demonstration highlighted why many farms around the world are parking their tractors and turning to drone technology instead.
