Farmers’ End of Season Round Table Reflection

Location: Rossland Miners’ Hall
Accommodation (optional but included for the night of the 27th): Prestige Mountain Resort
Join your fellow commercial farmers for an end-of-season reflection and debrief to share key learnings and connect with your peer professional farming network. This in-person gathering will give everyone the opportunity to check-in on how they are feeling after a busy farming season. Enjoy good food, facilitated discussion and a casual celebration.
Targeted discussions will cover topics such as:
- CSA best practices and experiences
- Nutrient and soil management
- Funding and grants

DRAFT agenda and proposed timeline:
9:30 am – 10:30 am: open house for coffee, snacks, mingling
10:30 am – 12:30 pm: event start – Farmer round table introductions and reflection on the season (discussion)
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch (included)
1:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Focused discussion topics
5:00 pm: Meeting concludes
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Mingling and snacks (BYO tasty treats if you have something to share).
EVENING & HOTEL: Optional accommodation is included for the night of the 27th. Participants will self-organize for dinner and a night on the town!
Saturday morning, November 28: optional fun group cross country ski! We can visit the cabins to go to Black Jack ski area.
