Devin Chursinoff of Pa-Van Ranch ran a series of test plots under centre-pivot irrigation to trial mixes of turnips, radishes, brassicas, millet and clovers to rejuvenate a pasture and increase soil carbon.
Eric Moes of Little Fork Ranch gave a farm tour to show early results of fields planted with a ‘conservation seeder‘, and the use of portable electric fencing to rotate sheep, pigs, cattle, and poultry.
